Founder and Team
JanaTribe was founded by Kojo Amakye, a wedding videographer with a background in web development. Through years working within the wedding industry, he experienced firsthand the challenges couples face when planning weddings and coordinating multiple vendors.
JanaTribe was created to simplify wedding planning by combining wedding websites, vendor discovery, and planning tools into one modern platform designed for African and diaspora weddings.
The original idea behind JanaTribe was developed together with Dennis, who contributed to the early concept and serves as an editor within the platform.
