Valerie Lawson Marfo, known for her Instagram account @mzl4wson; is a multi-award-winning professional makeup artist, global beauty strategist, brand consultant, and associate lecturer. Description
Valerie Lawson’s career started at an early age, and out of being naive about what the future held for her in a less acceptable creative and professional industry, she specialized in a range of beauty services and is renowned for her bridal makeup artistry. Her ability to create original, exquisite looks that leave one in awe of the craft stems from her passion for self-expression, creativity, and a bit of adventure.
She is also the creator of the brand Contours by Valerie and the Ghanaian artistic director for the American cosmetics giant Maybelline New York.
She is an associate lecturer at the London College of Fashion, UAL.
Valerie has worked with clients like the Second Lady of Ghana, Samira Bawumia, Raychel, the pretty wife of business mogul Kojo Jones, and Anita Sefa Boakye.
She is also the founder of @cvlbeautyofficial and the director of Valerie Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization that empowers young women to unlock new opportunities in the beauty industry.
