We didn’t see it coming.
We met like most people do—nothing special on the surface. Just conversation, just time passing, just two lives brushing past each other without any idea what it would turn into.
But something shifted quietly.
We started looking forward to the next talk… then the next one… then the ones that didn’t even have a reason. It wasn’t loud or dramatic. It just felt easy. Like we didn’t have to perform or explain anything.
Somewhere between jokes that lasted too long, random check-ins, and those moments where words weren’t even necessary, we stopped being “just friends” without announcing it to ourselves.
We learned each other in layers. What makes us laugh when no one is watching. What silence means on a good day versus a bad one. How to disagree and still come back softer than before.
It wasn’t perfect. We had pauses. Confusing moments. Times we had to step back and figure out what we were actually doing. But even in those spaces, we never really lost each other. We always found our way back.
And that’s when it clicked.
This wasn’t luck or timing or coincidence. It was consistency. It was choice. It was showing up, again and again, even when it wasn’t easy.
Now we’re here—calm, certain, and a little amazed at how something so ordinary became something this meaningful.
We’re not trying to define it too much.
We’re just living it.
